Talisman 4th Edition.


While it may only have a BGG score of 6.5 Talisman: Revised 4th Edition by Fantasy Flight Games is in my opinion a truly great game. I discovered this game back in the 80's and have been hooked ever since. In this classic fantasy board game players race to find a Talisman, reach the center of the board, and claim the Crown of Command. Key Game Features
Player Count: 2 to 6 players
Core Goal: Build up your hero's Strength or Craft, draw adventure cards, defeat monsters, and reach the inner region.
Mechanics: Roll-and-move, combat, questing, and player interaction. Major Expansions by Fantasy Flight Games
The Reaper: Introduces the Reaper figure that stalks players, plus new cards and characters.
The Frostmarch: Adds a cold-themed region board, enemy cards, and quests.
The Dungeon: Adds an underground board crawl with heavy monsters and vast treasures.
The Highland: Introduces a mountain board region with steep risks and high rewards.
The Sacred Pool: Expands the base board with neutral alignment options and stable/quest rewards.
The City: Adds a bustling urban marketplace board to buy specialized gear and bounties.
